            Panting, bleeding, and covered in dirt, Gwaeron bent over and braced her hands on her knees.
            Theloq flipped a page in his book. “Again, Gwaeron.”
            The princess drew in a long breath. “Let me catch my breath first.”
            At that, the elf snapped his book shut sharply and stood to his feet. His movement sent Gwaeron flying back toward the obstacle course. Partially fallen logs, vines and ropes, snares and rusted iron traps . . .
